simple spaghetti with basilico sauce

Serves approx 4 people.

1 Barilla Blue Box Spaghetti (500g $2.99)

1 jar Barilla Basilico Sauce (400g $3.99)

Fresh oregano (optional)

Parmesan cheese, grated (to serve)


• Bring a large pot of water to a boil. Add a pinch of salt and cook the spaghetti according to the package instructions for ‘al dente’.

• While the pasta cooks, gently heat the Basilico sauce in a separate pan.

• Drain the spaghetti and toss it with the warm sauce, coating the pasta evenly.

• Serve hot, sprinkled with grated Parmesan and garnished with fresh oregano if desired.
